i saw this morning that it's 25 degrees and flurries in Denver. I was hoping that we'd get iutas the late game. Instead we get a garbage game of Jacksonville and Dallas. Talk about junk. Finally a game in weather that isn't excessive heat.
3rd and three, in Rams territory, a minute and a half and the run game has been clicking -- we are in 4 down territory -- so what do we do ?? ... Keenum throws long to a double covered Sanders for an incompletion and then we throw again and he takes a sack ..
I think the fact that we held the best team in the league to 23 points and only lost by 3 means Vance gets to keep his job. If the team would’ve gotten blown out no doubt VJ would be fired but they played hard at the end to at least keep it close.
I agree. A good showing from the Broncos. If they stop being stupid they might have won that game. The Sanders taunting penalty was a killer.
The Rams are loaded on offense and defense. If this was not the 4th loss in a row I think we are talking about how this game could be the a launching point, and it still might be. We will see what kind of effort and execution we see in Arizona on Thursday. Even as a road game this is a game the team should win.
Denver did what they needed to win except for limit Gurley's production a bit. The Rams are uber talented and should compete for a chance to go to the Super Bowl baring injuries. Good luck the rest of the way.
This team seems well on its way to setting a record for scoring plays reversed on review or nullified by Ticky-tac penalties.
I picked a 31-21 Rams win and got a 23-20 Rams win. At points it looked like I gave the Broncos way too much credit and as it closed it appears I didn’t give them enough. What’s it matter though? A loss is a loss and this team is halfway to replicating last year’s 8 game skid.
- Although he has not caught many passes, every time there is a big run or run after a catch, it seems as if DeSean Hamilton is making great blocks .. Looking at the field and not a stat line, he plays great, smart football and I really like him
- Chubb looked like a #5 pick and the way he was used today is the way he needs to be used
- Booker looked the best he has all year, and with the exception of a tough block that he was late with, I thought he played well
- I'm confident that in close games, McManus will be McMoney
The Bad:
- Keenum made some bad decisions, held on to the ball too long, missed reads, backpedaled like Siemian and threw another INT inside the 35 .. ( The line of the day came from the side reporter when she said "Bronco fans will be happy to hear that Keenum was held out one play but passed the concussion protocol and will return to the game" .. I could hear the collective groan all the way here on NJ ) ...
- WTF is with the run defense ?? ... I know Gurley is a great RB, but for ***** sake, he wasn't getting touched until he was 5 yds downfield .....
- You'd think, if nothing else, Bradley Roby would be tired of running the length of the field every time he's targeted .. Some more huge plays surrendered and he just seems defeated
Darian Stewart ?? .. He got that deflected pass, but if these team wants to get back to being a dominating D, can he remain a starter ??
If it meant getting Herbert, do we let Vance finish the season ?
Also It is time to make some change up on our MLB .
I also see that the rams was running it thew chubbs hole and getting huge running plays this staff need the run delay blitz though that hole after chubb leaves a big hole going after the QB
