Thanks to Pete for covering the last GDT. Kopitar will hopefully play today, he's kind of important to the team. Gaborik is a maybe? I'll say he'll probably return when LA comes home.

That's great news. Gives Kopitar someone to work with and should give "That 70's Line" line some relief. If not Kopitar and Gaborik could kill them. Let's hope for the best.

It should come as no surprise that I was wrong. Now will they get on the scoreboard or will they help the 70s get some space or will I be swearing at the TV at 5 pm today?

And after a decent start the Kings powerless play turns the momentum over to Carolina. I've never seen a team have so much trouble entering the zone with an extra skater on the ice in many years. They not only get stood up at the blue line they get stood up at the center ice line.

Brown was pinned against the boards and no one bothered to prevent the pass.
On the plus side: only down by one, didn't take a bunch of penalties, and ( ok lost for a third thing) The sOG was fairly even

Looking like a pretty disastrous road trip. They don't get something turned around Dallas will run circles around them and end this trip up as a 1 point trip. Not the way a Stanley Cup Champion is supposed to play. Yeah I'm disappointed in the effort I see.

That's 4 losses in a row after that great home stand. And still 0 for the road. At least they're skating with a full lineup again. Well except for Voynov but I don't expect him back until after Christmas at the earliest.
