This is going to be another really tough game and great test. It's a bit different then the games we played lately though because I believe Quick is the best goalie in the league, if not he's definitely top 3 & is able to steal a game, series and cup as we've seem already. LA also has a really good defensive scheme but the seem to be struggling a bit on offense lately. While it's hard to consider this a trap game I think this has that type of game written all over it. If I was Berube and Giroux I'd grab B Schenn, Simmonds, Couturier & Vorachek before the game and say something like "hey boys on the other team are the guys you were traded for, those other teams thought that they'd be better served without you, let's go show them just how wrong they were". I'm pretty sure Giroux will be super psyched himself to show he really was the clear cut choice between Richie, Carter & himself. I say Flyer win 3-1 with an empty netter.

i think the stats spell that out pretty clearly!

but i agree, G seems to find motivation at every opportunity. and i love it.

better to play emery in a western conference game? save mason for the eastern ones?

I did too - I thought with the way the schedule is set up it would work in the favor of having Mase go all week
