doesn't mean Melton won't sign back with Dallas.
Not saying he sure fire does, but wouldn't say he won't. Grapevine Texas kid that just might sign in Dallas for 1/2M or so less. Either way....he's not getting much more than a proof yourself deal wherever he plays next season.


I wouldn't be all that shocked if Dallas only adds a 1st or 2nd round talent to the DLine from the draft. I've read Dallas D coaches were intrigued with a couple young injured guys. Much to see before all that becomes clear.


I still want Dallas to add dback help, but I do every year...lol, least it's no longer the center position.

I saw an article giving Dallas no chance to keep Murray since they were only $9.4 million under the cap....until the Melton move alone cleared almost $8.5. Their cap got cleaned up when they but the bullet on Ware and Hatcher. They still have a lot of dead money, but are in much better shape than the national median portrays

I think we will, and will sign 3-4 2nd tier defenders, and then go bpa in the draft.

we need play-makers in the secondary. sign mccourty and jettison Carr. Even when the front seven does get pressure the secondary makes very few plays. Patmon can take over for Carr or use the 1st rounder on the former Washington corner. We need more speed in the secondary. Mccourty is fast.

You're not getting McCourty. Patriots will franchise him if necessary this year. We will try to extend him but franchise if necessary....

I'm okay with us going db in the 1st round, wouldn't bother me if we went rb in the 1st or 2nd either. We all agree that this needs to be a defense heavy draft though especially in the early rounds. On a side note I'm interested to see if Street will develop this year.
