If we take a receiver before the 5th round it would be pure ignorance IMO Unless we aren't planning to keep Dez.

Right now we have Bryant Williams Beasley and Harris (who I want to see involved more)

It doesn't matter the formation Witten is going to be on the field
And Jerry has said he wants Escobar involved more.

That's 6 receivers ..... and you do not waste a high draft pick on a guy that will likely play BEHIND each of them
Not to mention .... our running game finally looked good .... Common sense says we will run more next year ... Especially with Dunbar coming back

But we have worse needs ..... and everyone of them is on the other side of the ball

that is why I was saying whenever we do pick our 1st offensive player.

One thing though. It will be a bit harder to screw up this draft with so many needs. We should be easily take BPAish that fits a need somewhere. Don't think we have to reach for any player even a lil bit this draft.

Lots of depth. Will be quality players there in the 3rd and probably the 4th as well

I usually love the BPA approach, but offense isn't the problem for this team. With our cap issues, I wouldn't mind if every single pick were defensive players who fit our scheme

BPA is the best way to Draft. Only thing is with this roster we need to go with BPA with a position of need.

I'm all for that. With 3 7th's, if Jerry has a wild hair for a WR, QB or TE, that's the time to knock himself out. This is going to be the most critical draft for the Cowboys in recent memory. They aren't bringing in FA help. Really need a great draft

This team has been ''competitive'' for a long time. 8-8 is average as it gets. 2 games either way is the difference between being a playoff 10-6 and a 6-10 also ran. I think with good health, and a good draft, in this division, we can find 2 more wins

Agree. With the parity in the nfl today many teams can win or lose 3 more games than the previous year.

You can say all that needs to happen, OR...we have a year exactly like this last year with all the same problems and results except we run out the clock versus GB and Detroit...10 wins

I do notice more and more mocks having us taking Pryor. I would find this an acceptable pick. Nice range,ball skills and hard hitter. He obviously did not have a ton of help like Dix has had.
