Gore has been a Seahawk killer over the years. Gore is a warrior, we are not knocking him, but since Pete has arrived, he hasn't had a really good game in the clink.

Only time jarrod ever shows himself on this board is after the 49ers win a game, then he hides until the next win. Total loser and waste of space on this board.

Frank Gore's affect on the Seahawk defense is one of the most overblown aspects to this rivalry. I understand he has 2 200 yard games against Seattle, but the last one was in 2009 (over 4 years ago). He also does have 5 100 yard games (including the 200 yarders) but only 1 of those came in Seattle, and that was 2006. He's only scored a total of 4 rushing TDs in 16 games against Seattle.

This game is in Seattle, a house of horrors for more than just Kaepernick. Gore averages just 52.4 yards rushing (and only 46.1 in his last 7). He's managed only 44 yards rushing (total) the last 2 games he's been in Seattle. His career ypc in Seattle is 3.7 (3.4 over his last 7, 2.9 in his last 2). This isn't SF, where he averages 6.9 yard per carry.

Yeah his time has come. He can leave voluntary or get restricted. I tried to get him to keep it between the lines, but I guess that's beyond his ability.

Don't forget who you will be playing. We aren't GB, and we aren't Carolina. Your QB sh@t the bed the last two times he has played here..... We respect the 49rs talent, they are an excellent football team, just don't like them. I think it's funny how the niner fans have absolutely zero respect for us....I could give a rats ass about the "titles" won decades ago.

I respect seattle I know this is going to be a tough game. But you guys act like you already won the game because of the last 2 games at the clink. the last game was in week two this 49ers team is a totally differnet team playing a lot better than they were in week two and with more weapons and riding and 8 game winning streak. just like seattle is a different team then they were back in week two, they are struggling offensively and just lost to Arizona at home a couple of short weeks ago.

I think its funny that I haven't called anyone names and I haven't been rude but I have simply stated facts about the 49ers and the players but that pisses you guys off and you want to get me banned smply because I don't agree with you. I could understand if I was being a jerk and just coming in here and posting random garbage like say regent used to post when he would come to the 49ers board and post nothing but 42-13.

The seahawk organization shares your feelings Tzorn, enough so that they are trying to rig the sales of playoff tickets so 49ers fans cant get their hands on tickets. SHADY!!!!!!!!!!

San Francisco 49ers ? Niner Insider Blog ? SFGate.com » Seahawks block NFC Title Game ticket sales to California

where in there was I whining, im laughing that your organization is so scared that they are blocking 49ers fans from purchasing tickets. HAHAHAHAHA

its not a miracle run when he has done that to your defense for years!!!!!!

There are no facts in the previous posts, just rude opinions. If you were here all the time, it might be a little different, but when you only show up right after 49er wins and thump your chest, then disappear until the next win, it comes off as :lame: and you look like a douche. If you want to thump your chest about your team right after they win, do it on the general board, not our board.

For me I actually like the fact we're going into this game getting blown out in Seattle the previous 2 times.

When you get blown out like that it's serves as motivation to work that much harder and to look at everything to be better prepared for the next match up.

All week Kap and the team is going to hear about how they can't win in Seattle which is as we saw with the Cardinals and Saints serves as motivation to play better the next time.

From an actual football perspective if I was a Seattle fan I would be very worried about the offense. It hasn't been good as of late and what's loss in the week 2 match up is despite the score Seattle didn't have a great day on offense so there really isn't anything to suggest that slump is going to end this week.

Seattle on defense there isn't much to worry about as they are flat out nasty and stingy but the run defense should be somewhat of a concern since that is the "weak" link that can be attacked. Though if the 9ers expect to lineup in power formations and jam the ball down Seattle's throat I don't think they'll have much success but I do think if they throw in some creative running plays and keep Seattle guessing a bit they can have success.

From a 9er fans perspective I'm concerned with all the hot and cold nature we've been playing with lately. I'm thrilled that we've made plays in clutch situations but eventually living on the edge is going to work against you and we can't afford to play like we did in the 1st half against Carolina.

My other concern is counting the regular season this upcoming game will be the 4th road game in a row and in that span we've played the Cards who have a physical team, Packers in a brutal environment, and Panthers another very physical team. Winning those 3 road games in a row is quite the feat but now we go to Seattle who closed the season with two home games and you have to wonder how much gas is in the tank.

Overall I don't expect a blow out (though I didn't expect one week 2 either) because I do think having Crabtree helps and I expect the 9ers to come out motivated and hungry to get the "Can't win in Seattle" monkey off their backs and get back to the Super Bowl but all that's going to do is make for a closer game and still might not be enough to win.

For me...

(Great post, jikkle, just edited for space)

I think most if not all Seahawks fans feel close to the same way, we love our teams, but are very cautiously optimistic about how this game will turn out. No matter who wins, it should be close and hard fought. I have my doubts our offense can do enough to win, but our defense might just be good enough to win it for them.

Winner of this game is winning the Superbowl. I dont see either AFC team having the power to win. Too many injuries for both of their teams.

Denver or the Pats don't have the defenses … I wouldn't say they can't win because there so good at the qb spot BUT it's definitely gonna be tough for who-ever faces either San Fran or Seattle… NO doubt about it..
