Maybe the bad performance will do them well. Or maybe we'll see a bunch of spread, empty backfield garbage until we're behind 2 scores. Never know with this team. Hopefully Harvin will be available. Kap's looking good but stopping Gore is going to be the key. The defense was giving up way too many yards on the ground against the Saints.

It's what great teams do.. they play with a swagger. I have no problem with the antics of Boldin or Harbaugh, but it's a bit over the edge sometimes and hilarious watching them, especially Harbaugh.

I love the aggression and tenacity of Boldin and Sherman. (and the others). I love Harbaughs reactions too because it shows his team that he is emotionally invested and has their backs. The only reason others don't like it is because he isn't their coach. If he was on any other team leading them to their 3rd NFCC game in his first 3 years that fan base would love him too.

as a die hard seattle sports fan, i just don't like to get my hopes up too much.

especially since the niners seem to improve every game. lots of offensive deficiencies for the sqawks that are becoming more and more apparent.

They're peaking at the right time and Seattle peaked a bit earlier in the year late in the season. The only thing that worries me right now is passing game. Let's hope Wilson figures this shit out fast.

In the same manner, can you blame us Hawk fans that support PC and JS, because they took a DEAD and OLD roster that was going to the cellar, and brought us here.

To deny that harbaugh has done a great job, would be wrong.
To deny that harbaugh was handed a better roster than pete would also be wrong.

Just like to hear some niner fans acknowledge that harbaugh was handed a roster that SHOULD have been in contention with that talent. Sure, he made them better, but the roster was already good.
Seattle, had shit for a roster and was headed to the cellar, until JS and PC got what they wanted.

Well it's come down to...if you want the job to done right , got to do it yourself. I'm thinking that's what the Seahawks are thinking right now.

It should be a great game, a real war. Seahawks need their passing game to kick it up a bit. It's one of those games where if your team wins your delirious with joy, but if your team loses, it's like a kick in the stomach. Any ways.....

They're both great coaches, Harbaugh has his team in it's 3rd NFC Championship game in 3 years, and yes he had talent, but still. Carroll helped remake a roster and probably more than his coaching helped draft extremely well. Both teams should be happy with their coaches.

I think both fans saw this coming, especially once the Saints won in Philly and it ensured they wouldnt meet until the championship. Since our 2nd matchup I have always thought we would be the only ones that could take down the Niners and they were the only ones that could take down us. Obviously I am really hoping Percy can play. With a concussion we wont know until weeks end. I need a few days to let this sink in but man no bigger game ever in the city of Seattle

The way a conference championship should be, the two best teams in the NFC going at it for a trip to NY. This game next week is going to be epic and I can't wait!!!

Congrats to both teams for making it here.

GO HAWKS!

As hard as it is to give props to SF, that was well said.

A good and fair response. Carroll is a great defensive coach, so I would NOT discount his 'coaching' contribution, he drafted and searched for the type of players he wanted, and found them,

That said, Seahawk Offense better make adjustments and come to play.

Enjoy the local sports radio this week. Expect to hear the "Harbaugh Song":suds:

I'm not trying to diss Carroll's coaching abilities. As for the Harbaugh Song, yeah, I don't listen to Mitch because he's such a sexist asshole, the other station is better. Here's what gets me about the Seattle radio shows, except for Dave Mahler, they all pretend that their hatred of Harbaugh is logical and isn't based on anything more than being a fan, Mahler at least admits that he would love Harbaugh if he were the coach here, just like he loves Sherman and his yapping but would hate him if he were on another team. Mahler's honest about it, the other ones aren't.
