No one can be worse than Wells. No one. Even if we pick up a C that is only decent it will still be light years better than Wells.

This is why the Raiders signed KC's Center and not Winewski. So the question really is: Do you pay this guy $5/6 million a year for a few years IF he's had injury issues?

That's kind of what's been the Rams' problem right? I'd hate to see us scramble for another back up, while someone else makes that kind of money.

He's averaged 15 games a season (this surprised me) for his career but he gets these little nagging injuries that limit his effectiveness. He's still just 25, he could be a really good signing.

Ok that's what I like to hear DJ. 25 is a good age for a FA signing no doubt. Perhaps he could stay healthy and have better O-lineman around him in STL. If we can get him for $4 million a year for 3 years, that would be pretty good IMO.

I agree. A little disappointed to see him leave, but we were horrible last season and Hudson was rated the 3rd best center in the NFL. It's an upgrade for us.

Yep, I agree that nearly anybody is going to be better than Wells and Joseph. We spent $37 million on Long and Wells and the return was some O-line stability. We could have got that with finding some decent players at a half that and still received the stability we were looking for. Example: Joe Barksdale.

Wells ranked dead last for starting Centers and Joseph was 2nd to last for starting Guards.

Bulaga wasn't going anywhere. He was just waiting for a phone call from GB. He stated as much recently on a Yardbarker report.

Wisnewski also started his career as a OG, so he has versatility. Rumor is 4 years, 19 million for Wisnewski to come here. Not confirmed.

That is a good move. We get him for about 4.5 mil per year and the cap hit is minimal.

Seeing that Seattle just traded Max Unger for Jimmy Graham, what are they going to do at Center?

Oakland is close to Seattle. My guess is they might get in on Winewski stakes as well.

We shall see SJ76. Wisnewski is another matter entirely and we may forego him for the draft seeing we have Rhaney and Jones in the wings.

We are everso slightly getting a bit thinner at the O-line. Mike Person who had a shot at playing this coming season signed with the Falcons. That means right now we have Brandon Washington moving into LG and C and RT are available.
