Good game by the 49ers. They are keeping the pressure on Seattle. Traveling across country and beating a team 42-10 (regardless of whether it's the Jags or not) is impressive.

We drafted Kendall Hunter in the 4th. Why would we trade him for a 4th? He's done well, and he's still young, and offers a dimension we don't have in the running game.

Because of the depth we have at the position. You have to figure next year Gore will still be the primary back with Lattimore getting a work as the backup. This still leaves you with Hunter, James, Dixon, and Hampton assuming they don't draft anyone else at the position.

Why not try to get good value out of our depth now from a desperate team in need?

lattimore hasn't even proven he can still play, while hunter has shown he can and at a high level. He impresses me with almost every touch he gets

What depth? Hampton is a PS player and Anthony Dixon is useless and likely on his way out. Frank Gore is nearing the end of his career and who knows how Lattimore will recover.

Don't be ridiculous. It'll be Gore/Hunter until Gore retires, and then it'll be Lattimore/Hunter (if Lattimore is healthy).

There's absolutely no way I'm trading Hunter for a friggin 4th round pick. That's just beyond lunacy to even suggest.
