Starting right tackle Sebastian Vollmer remains down on the ground after that 2-yard Stevan Ridley run. Medical staff on to the field.

Sebastian Vollmer looks to be in considerable pain as they turn him to lay on his back. Cart coming out for him.

Medical staff and athletic training staff stabilizes Vollmer's right leg. Pumping up cast on leg.

Players from both Dolphins and Patriots come over to cart to see Vollmer, a sign of the severity of the injury.

Marcus Cannon enters the game for Sebastian Vollmer at right tackle. Team also has Will Svitek for added layer of depth.

I always liked Cannon A LOT but he's had a rough go of it at times thus far in his career.

Haha. Fair enough. I'm conflicted. But as we're pretty clearly going to win big, I wouldn't be heartbroken if Blackmon put up 100-odd yards against our backups....
