What I mean is that after reading posts here you have to be thick skinned, and I could be wrong but I think a lot is posted in jest. As far as the politics, it gets pretty nasty, but you have to expect that if you are going to allow politics. I know some forums that forbid it. I am not versed in it. I really do not know exactly what you are referring to about the Phillies, so maybe I shouldn’t have posted, but you know that in a public forum, people are going to do this.

The PF is a known quantity. It is my understanding that the PF exists pretty much as a release valve. If it doesn’t exist, than the political bs ends up leaking all over the site.

As for the Phils forum, I have no idea outside what has been said in this thread. But it is SportsHoopla policy that the team boards are a different beast from general forums. They are not necessarily “public forums”.

Again. Just because one person likes to “spar” on the boards does not mean everyone does. Or at least not in all situations. Therefore, if a team forum chooses to ban outside shit-stirrers, it is completely within their power to do so.
