UConn has NEVER in all of cfb history, finished a season ranked in the AP Top 25.More games cool. Still waiting on an answer of who has been more relevant. My parents weren’t alive when someone mentioned Minnesota and a potential national championship. I haven’t been alive since someone even mentioned Minnesota as a Big 10 championship contender. As I said, Coach is the closest Minnesota has been as a relevant football program since post Civil Rights.
UConn cracked the poll in 2007, for 4 weeks, rising as high as #16 before falling all of the way out.
UConn cracked the poll in 2008, for 1 week, at #24, then fell out.
UConn cracked the poll in 2010, for 1 week, at #25, then fell out.
THAT'S IT, UConn's entire history of making the AP poll.
Seems to me that UConn has NEVER EVER been relevant in cfb.
