And UMn-Twin Cities, too.
they both let just about anyone who applies get in. Hard to claim that they are top schools with acceptance rates so high. They are clearly not very selective.

What are you talking about? Be more specific. But before you do I'll give you credit for trying so hard to desperately find some dirt on UMn.
It’s not a hard job, there’s plenty to be found.

No need. This is a thread about Minnesota's ineptitude.
Congrats, UMn ranks/rates/out performs Univ of Oregon in almost every way, cept on the field cfb performance the last 2-3 decades, yet UMn's Athletic Department STILL makes more than Oregon's, lol.

So you are ok with Oregon's inability to make money from athletics? Oh wait, sorry, seems they made something like 200 thousand, lol.

If I wanted to debate Oregon's merits about things unrelated to CFB, I'd go to the appropriate forum. Seeing as this is the CFB forum, that would be the only thing to discuss.

Please, continue to elaborate as to how Minnesota is inferior to Oregon the past 30 years.

We're back to having an outdoor Stadium. Now all you Badger fans have to figure out is the concept of having ever won a Natl Title ;)

Closest you came was with a former Gopher as your coach, maybe you should try that again?

I have no illusions of grandeur Badgers will get NCAA Football national title in my lifetime if that makes you happy. College football is dominated by the bigger programs and I realize that. Would have been nice if Badgers could have won 2015 basketball title... unfortunately I doubt Badgers get back to basketball title game again in my lifetime.

Bucks wining title this year was pleasant surprise.. but not a big NBA fan, but happy for city of Milwaukee and Bucks fans.

My sports life is complete... I grew up in 70s/80s after Lombardi years... grew up 1/2 hour from Lambeau Field so sports news was always Packers, Packers and more Packers. Suffered through a lot of bad years of the Packers and all I wanted was one Super Bowl win in my lifetime and have already experienced 2. After the first Packers Super Bowl win for 96 season I consider everything else icing on the cake for sports teams I support.
