LOL @ Alex Henery dialing up that fake punt by himself

Yea Bo said they called for a punt and he has the option to do it whenever he sees the chance.........but from your own 20 obviously he wants Alex to be extra careful

This kid is by far our MVP. He does it all. Its weird to say this but he is by far the most underrated player in the nation. He hasnt missed an extra point or a field goal. He has an amazing leg punting the ball as well. AND when he has an amazing average on running the ball at 27 yards a carry

First, when he was past the first down marker, second, when he cut back across the field, third, when he approached his first defender, and fourth when he decided to lower his head and cut it up BETWEEN two defenders! I really thought the poor little guy was going to get cut in half. Am I out of line to suggest that Alex Henery might go down as the most popular kicker in Husker history?

They asked Alex yesterday in the press conference if Bo gives him the freedom to just take off running whenever he sees any opening...............Alex was like "uhhhhhh........no........actually I just kinda took off running there because I thought I could make it."

He said the coaches have talked about the option to take off running before, but that usually they will tell him to keep it in mind before he goes into kick the punt.........this time there was no discussion before hand. He basically just improvised all by himself.

I personally don't think there is one player on the whole team who is as valuable as Alex Henery in the sense that he just doens't make mistakes...........just so consistent.
