Norton's Defense would have been better no if ands or buts about it. Sure they would have started off like trash but would have been a top 10 defense in the final half of the season.

Also with the weapons Seattle has on offense they should be a top 3 offense or better lol think about it.

You can win with a average QB when they don't turn the ball over.

Geno in his BEST YEAR EVER still turned the ball over 13 times in the regular season. Normally when talking about a QB and their best year ever you are talking 6 total turnovers maybe 8 max.

Geno still has a big turnover issue. You can not win with a QB like that and when your defense is total trash it's even worse.

That’s why we can’t pay him elite QB money, Pete MUST know this, or dementia is setting in …

No we wouldn't have a top 3 offense. Geno is a nice story but not dynamic. Russ on the decline would not have gotten us a top 3 offense and there weren't any choices in FA and last years crop of QBs no one was high on. Our offense wasn't the problem but the scheme change on defense was.
