The obvious answer is Bill Snyder.

Chris Peterson should be up there....let's hope not for long though.

I was going to put Schembechler but then saw his bowl record. Damn it was pretty crappy. Must have been a padded scheduling only to cave in bowl games. Gave the nod to Mark Richt, he was so close on so many occasions.

Michigan fans will tell you that he didn't care about bowl games.

Oh, Don James should be nominated to since his only recognized national championship was a regional title, the real champ was Miami.

LMAO, No One thinks Miami was the better team that year.
That 34-24-1 record is truly awesome.
Sorry I missed that one.

Between 1941 and 2009 only ONE coach won 10 games at Sanford, Walsh
Between 1941 and 2009 Stanford won 9 games 4 Times, Once by Walsh
Between 1941 and 2009 Stanford won 8 games 5 Times, Once by Walsh

In almost 70 years of Football Bill Walsh had 3 out of Stanford 10 best seasons. Including its best season.

He Coached Stanford for 5 years.

Just because he was the Greatest Coach of all time so the NFL called, does not mean he was less of a coach in College.

You aren't underrated coaching at Georgia or Michigan. You have every advantage.
