Here's a good quote from some random guy in the comments section on mlive:

"The Eagles may be doing okay with turnovers, but let's not sugarcoat it. The Eagles are 32nd against the pass, and the Lions are the #2 passing offense. That's a serious mismatch, and the Lions should score with just as much ease as they did against GB. The question is can Philly's offense keep pace?" --Stafford2Johnson

I don't think we'll score on anyone for the rest of the year with as much ease as we did on Green Bay on Thanksgiving. That was one of the best offensive outputs of the year by any team.

But overall I agree that it seems like its being overlooked that Philly's passing defense is worse than ours, and our passing offense is better than theirs. We keep hearing about how their great passing game is going to tear up our suspect CBs, and it probably will, but nobody is giving our offense any prompts against Philly's league worst secondary.

I think we're in for a shoot-out on a sloppy field. Double moves could be dangerous for us if Toast Houston's recent struggles continue, but Megatron should have a field day against smaller DBs on a slippery field...

Lol- it's a few degrees below zero at my house right now. I put my dogs out to go to the bathroom and whatnot, and was watching them through the window when one of them picked up a small steel bar (an "axle" from a wheel on my grill) that was laying on my deck, apparently thinking it was a stick. Now, any of you who have ever stuck your tongue to anything metal when it's that cold outside can probably guess what happened there. My dog, who is only 9 months old, was totally unprepared, though, and watching him running across the yard frantically shaking his head to try to un-stick the bar was hilarious...

It truly was an amazing performance on both sides. I couldn't have had a happier Thanksgiving game. It just goes to show what our offense can do when clicking on all cylinders.

It's gonna be fuggin cold out there today and I have a feeling it's going to affect one, if not both, of the teams.

Philly's defense has played better as of late. So the 32 ranking is somewhat misleading. Throw in the weather and it equalizes the passing game.

The Eagles are 7-5 in a poor division but they are fighting for a playoff spot so I expect them to have a back against the wall attitude and give Detroit their best shot!

If Detroit has their usual let down after a big win game it will not go well.
