Game Thread: Lions vs Cardinals

Ok boys, It's time to man up.......This isn't about the Packers and the NFC North anymore......Lions win this game they own the NFC regardless of what Dallas or Philly does.......If Detroit wants to make a statement then here is the moment......The Lions have a 5-1 NFC record better then everyone except the 6-0 NFC record the Cards are boasting.

Philly and Dallas both have lost 2 and 3 games in the NFC....Its time to put up or shut up....It's one thing to make the playoffs but it's another to have a chance to claim home field advantage.....

Well I felt this is the time for the Kool-Aid and Cornbread. I just laid out a scenario for the Lions to command the NFC......It's simple.....The Lions win against the Cards they are the #1 seed in the NFC.....

If they lose then were back talking about who will win the North and a possible playoff seed.

I have been sipping on the juice. They win this one and might eat some cornbread and wash it down with a few gulps.

Hoping to get off early and catch the second half. Need to strike early. Not sure they are built for big comebacks. They seem to be pulling out some close games like us late. Should be a decent game and a great test.

Should be really interesting. Last time these two hooked up Stafford struggled mightily. I think Warford and Waddle is out too. Be lucky to get a combined 30 points from both teams.

Was hoping to win 2 out of 3 coming off the bye. Well, dreamin they'd win 2 out of 3 anyway. Played well for nearly an entire game last week. DLine was the best ive seen em. And Staff put up one of his 4 best games of the year. Hopin for more of that and less of the shit i saw against Nawlins and ATL. Be great if they can get the wins out the way and go for a third next week.

My thoughts...it's really time to make a statement. The offense has been leaning on this defense for a while, Stafford finally has all of his weapons back. i want to see some points today. I want to see everything clicking. The defense can shut down Stanton. I dont want to see them in the game in the 4th quarter. Go out west and whoop some ass, they do that they are for real.

Watching the morning football shows, every time they bring up Cardinals/Lions they talk about how Stanton loves to throw deep. We've been excellent at limiting big plays, and I don't think Stanton is the one to change that.

4 interceptions from Stanton is my bold prediction.

I got Broncos vs Rams on CBS and Seattle vs Chiefs on FOX.

I always get Chicago games. Cutler plays great and still kinda sucked.

Same thing on Fox. But I was rooting for the Vikings.
