No, but he used them last year and probably did so because his natural abilities are slipping at age 31, ancient for most football players. The Ravens refused to pay him, then dumped him for peanuts for a reason.

The good ones use them because their job is in constant jeapordy, and things like injuries, a bad game, a bad year etc can cause panic in a guy used to being at the top.

All you really need a DT to do is demand a double team and get off his block to tackle the runner. Ngata can do both. He's not Suh but nobody is.

Suh will be missed because of his strength and athleticism. A DT can still be successful without
