It is going to get worse if the NFL has its way. They want to push it into May.

I'm used to things in my life being put on the back burner to simmer for elongated periods of time. this will just be another in the endless pile of those occurrences.

Kind of like the Lions franchise putting a Super Bowl on the back burner?

I thought they did. Then moved it up a week

Correct. They did it for 2014 only to move it back but said they still wanted to move it not only into May but the end of May.

I think maybe teams would and have complained about not having enough time.

Maybe that's why Caldwell was saving those timeouts.

These mocks giving us Chris Jones are starting to scare me.

So Tunsil probably slips a little maybe 5th

Wentz
Goff
Ramsey
Buckner or Bosa
Lions trade in for 1 this year and 1 next year 1700 points for 1700 points

San Diego would be making a major mistake not drafting Tunsil. Players like Tunsil don't come along very often and protecting Rivers should be the utmost importance at this juncture. They can draft a S at top of 2nd or even 3rd rd. that could still produce and provide impact (maybe not to Ramsey's projection). King Dunlap was washed up three years ago and Joseph Barksdale barely belongs at RT. jmo

I'm all for helping out Stafford but not at the cost of two first round picks. This teams still needs several positions upgraded and losing a first round next year is just bad at this time. There's a bevy of 3-tech DT's on this roster that could easily be upgraded, a MLB that can easily be upgraded and a NT that could easily be upgraded for when Ngata can't play worth a damn anymore.

not worth it, imo, even though I really like Tunsil quite a bit. Reiff is serviceable until you can get another within reason. We've seen all too often in the past where trading up doesn't bode well.

highly respect your opinion but just disagree here.

Who was the last tackle taken in the top 5 who became a total bad ass? Serious question. Joe Thomas?

Yeah.

A lot of turds after him. Luke Joekel and Eric Fisher come to mind.

Lane Johnson

Tunsil is a better prospect than Joe Thomas was

Eric Fisher was solid last year just because an olineman has a bad rookie year doesn't make him a bust it takes time for the oline to mesch

Plenty of recent top 10 oline picks are doing well Trent Williams, Taylor Lewan, Tryon Smith, Jake Matthews

That dude was horrific his first two years. Even if he had a solid but not pro bowl worthy season last year. We are still talking about the #1 overall pick in the draft. If you are #1 overall, it should not take you 3 years to become just "above average".

"ESPN's Jeremy Fowler relays that Auburn T Shon Coleman has met with the Buccaneers, Lions, Vikings, Panthers, Patriots and Titans.

Coleman was unable to participate in Pro Day festivities due to a slight tear in his MCL, but that has not exactly limited interest in the 6-foot-5, 307-pounder. NFL Media's Lance Zierlein has referred to him as a "long, talented run blocker," one who could possibly play either tackle position at the next level. With faith in his medical future, a team could select him in the earlier rounds of the draft later this month."- Rotoworld

Call me crazy, but I don't think Tunsil is going to be this incredible player. Very good, like a Tryon Smith, but not Jonathan Odgen, Orlando Pace or Tony Boselli.

Eric Fisher is absolute garbage. So is Jake Matthews. Lane Johnson is ok, nothing close to being worthy of a top 5 pick. Schwartz really fleeced those teams that year taking Ziggy.
