Bears 4th best D in NFL right now based on yards given up per game. 4th worst based on points given up.

Which one do you think more accurately describes them?

Giving up points makes a bad defense, period. No way Miami finishes with a worse D than these Lions.

TDs are only a valid stat in TOTAL. Breaking them out between Run and Pass is not. See the 10000 explanations everyone here have given you if you need more explanation.

The Bears offense is as bad as the Lions. Not as many turnovers, but also giving the opponent the ball in their own territory due to poor field position and Special Teams play.

For some reason you cant seem to comprehend more than 1 variable at a time. Are you really that much of a meathead?

Reported for being a cranky old man.

Probably not, but they were not given the chance to give up more yards because of poor field position. They may have given up a ton more or they may not. Wont be known for sure unless the offense and ST stop doing what they are doing the rest of the season.

Also, it is irrelevant because the bet was best rush defense.

Incredible the progress a progressive team makes when they don't accept failure. Too bad we don't know whst that's like in Detroit.

I wouldn't get too crazy. You just beat a rookie QB, whose only victory on the season was against..............another rookie QB.

I do not think Miami was as bad as their record, but I wouldn't do cartwheels over beating Tennessee. Same goes for the Lions. Though I was highly impressed with Detroit's run defense, minus Ngata, Levy and Ihedbigo holding the guy who was leading the NFL in rushing to 69 yards on 24 carries.

I'm still not excited Rob. They accepted failure when they kept Philbin after a December meltdown last season. It was the Titans. Good team to build momentum with though. See what it brings going forward. Miller is becoming a all around back for sure. Tannehill is a train wreck this year.

yeah 23 yards difference is really not much to look at especially since it seems like miami's offense did most of the rush defense, tenessee had what 14 carries? plus we were minus levy ihedigo, ngata, and walker. factor in the injuries this week and we held forte to 2.9 YPC replacing Suh and fairley with a 4th round pick in wright and last years 5th round pick in reid.

think about that a 4th and 5th round pick replaced suh and fairley's run stopping prowess. if we had started the season not signing either ngata or walker there are a lot of nervous pissed off fans but they were good enough for 2.9 ypc. i am still yearning for suh's pressure on 3rd and 12 but today was a big notch towards indicating he wasnt the main force behind our run def

Clearly you don't see our last second win at home against a losing team.
