Breaking news: Miami fired OC Bill Lazor, the first of many OCs who turned Mayhew down originally. Will be paying close attention to how these toe teams rebuild. We'll be in competition for a lot of the same things.

Miami replace Jared Odrick with Suh. Their defense dropped from 12th to 29th. Rush defense dropped from 24th to 32nd (that is dead last for those not paying attention).

Jacksonville added Odrick and their defense went from 26th to 21st and their rush defense went from 27th to 7th.

Conclusion: Odrick > Suh

ANOTHER stellar game by Suh yesterday. Just ask everybody's favorite stat guru, PFF:

– Many defenders struggled for the Dolphins, but not DE Olivier Vernon (+4.4) or DT Ndamukong Suh (+3.2). Vernon actually had a poor game run defending, finishing with a negative grade there, but it was his pass rushing that really stood out. Vernon finished with a superb sack, two hits and five hurries. His +6.2 pass rush grade was the highest on either team. Over his last three games, Vernon has two sacks, 11 hits, eight hurries and a +18.6 pass rushing grade. Suh had a hit and three hurries, and also was very disruptive in the run game. He frequently took on double teams that allowed his teammates a chance to make a play (not that they actually made said play, but the chance was there).

More proof Suh is proving all the Suhaters wrong (predictably).

There does exist a game within a game, meaning, it's relatively easy to have 2, 3, 4, players excel at their position in said game and be on the winning end whereas the other 7-9 have failed. Final score can be very misleading in many games (wrong time/place TO, bad officiating) when you break down how each player did in each play or plays in a single series or multiple series.
