still a 4th at earliest and more likely 5th round unless he tears up the combine.

NFL Draft Combine Profile D K Metcalf NFL com.png

Well that is it for me @Big_Blue_72

Unless he fails medical checks on his neck. He is at the top of my big board (assuming Bosa and Q. Williams is gone).

Here is a kid that impressed me at the spandex Olympics. He could slide more to the end of the draft too. I though he had one of the best kick slides. I like a G who can also play one of the other positions. I think we save a crapload of money letting Lang go too. Slide Crosby in for now and this kid becomes depth.

Derwin Gray, G, Maryland
Height: 6-4. Weight: 336.
Projected 40 Time: 5.25.
Projected Round (2019): 4-6.
2/9/19: Gray missed the start of the season due to his continued recovery from offseason surgery. He returned to the field but did not earn an invitation to a top all-star game.

8/28/18: According to NFL teams' preseason data provided by team sources, Gray checks in at 6-foot-4, 336 pounds. He is said to run the 40 in 5.25 seconds. Other data has his measurements as 33.63-inch arms, 10-inch hands, and an 82.5-inch wing span.

Gray was Maryland's starter at left tackle in 2017 and did a solid job on the blind side. He has pretty good athleticism for a thick-bodied blocker, and he uses his size to be effective in the ground game. In speaking to team sources, they are projecting Gray to the inside at guard and have him as a candidate to graded for the first four rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft entering the 2018 season.

Yeah, I like the idea of taking college LT's and moving them into G. Especially if they are maulers. Do they say anything else about him being a good run blocker?

Read a few places that these guys are getting first round love. Any chance one of these guys can slip to us in the 2nd?

Think Noah Fant could slip to the 3rd round? Wouldn't mind gambling on a TE at that point.

stay out of the smokable/edible flowering merchandise stores. It's having an affect on your judgement.

Not happening for Fant to drop to 3rd round unless he has some catastrophic injury between now and draft day.

Fant had the best Combine for any/all TE's and for the majority of WR's also.

It's possible for both to be available in 2nd round. There's not many Safeties in this class that are high quality combo (good versus run and coverage), imo, so they're going to have to get one before round 3 ends and even then they might miss out.

Not from anyone but I have seen him and he does well run blocking as well. 2 long TD runs on his side vs OH st. Maryland had 1700 yards rushing this year too. Pretty gawdy numbers.

I'm still interested in drafting tOSU WR Terry McLaurin but only as a day 3 pick. He might not last until 5th. He had one of the best all-around days at the combine for WR.

McLaurin didn't see nearly as many targets as did teammates Paris Campbell, KJ Hill.
