LINEUP HELP - Ryan Matthews or Terrance West

Ryan Matthews vs SEA and Terrance West vs NO. So, clearly… Matthews with a tough matchup and West with a rather favorable one. Although, it just scares me that Cleveland may be down big rather early and abandon the run.

I could also start them both. And sit one of these three WR's:

Cruz vs ARI
Allen vs SEA
Floyd vs NYG


Kind of a predicament. I've gone back and forth multiple times.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Cleveland was down 27-3 at halftime last week and they did not abandon the run then. I see no reason for them to do so this week.

I would start West.

Floyd is a no brainer, but the other two are hit and miss. I still think they are better bets than Mathews, but it is very close.

True. I forgot about West/Crowell having a good game after being down big early. I think I'll go with him, unless I hear a better argument in this thread. Thanks for the help.

Allen - vs Seattle...I'd sit him. As mentioned above, Floyd, no brainer. Cruz... gut feel I play him. West...yeah, match-up.

I have both Matthews and West on my bench this week - In favor of Sproles. When deciding on my own, I ranked them:

Sproles;
West;
Matthews.

In that order. I think Matthews is in for a good year, but not this week. I see us involving Woodhead a lot more in the screen game and Matthews having a tough time against the NFL's best D.
