I saw the interview. He was more joking with the reporters than butthurt.

Carry on.

Yes, but that doesn't invalidate his skill BK. He is a League PG. He would be exceptional on a good team.

I heard what he said last night after the game, and I didn't interpret what he said as being butt hurt. He merely pointed out that Kobe normally makes those shots and that while he would enjoy being the one, that's what Kobe's job is - and that it is not his job to take the last shot.

He would?

Yup. His struggles are not for a lack of skill, which is a problem in some areas. His problems are based more on the talent around him. Hes not an all star PG but a solid one who would excel on a good-great team. He simply tries to do to much on the Lakers, and hes not made for that. But as far as a game management PG, he could do that easily. And i believe his numbers would improve greatly on a good team.

To be fair, you could say that about a lot of college players in March Madness for one month or one game.

Unless he is accused of being passive aggressive with his comments, I don't see the big whoop.

He was basically saying Kobe will start knocking those shots down...eventually.

It's not a big deal. bk just like to troll sometimes. As usual though, he just embarrassed himself.

I like that Lin says he want to hit some too. I wouldn't want to hear anything else from any player.

That's the way I see it- and if he wants to hit the big shots, then he's got to work on his game. To be fair though I think Lin has worked on his game considerably, but it's a process. He isn't going to become a better player overnight.

It would probably help his development if he could stay with the same team for more than a season.

I think the Lakers could easily offer him a long term contract if he makes an effort consistently the entire year and shows improvement, but when I continue to hear Byron Scott talk about the players not trying - the first thing that comes to my mind is good bye in April when their season ends. I do believe Lin is trying though, but a dildo can't produce fruit and that is all there is too it.

Okay, first of all, on the bolded: :wtf:

Second, depending on what direction the Lakers go in the re-build, I could see him being kept around as the starter or a capable backup. If they re-build to more of a point guard driven team, then I see him as a backup. I they re-build with an offense that requires less from the PG, then I could see him sticking around as a starter.

I think Lin as reserve around the mid level exception pay would be a reasonable, but for some strange reason other teams thinks they are stealing gold when they offer a free agent coming from the Lakers a large contract. I look to see Lin get lucky and get an 8 to 10 million a year contract from someone other than the Lakers because I don't think the Lakers will offer him more than 5-7
