Hell, now they're saying that playing against Luongo was what caused us trouble. I think with that lack luster play, they'd have trouble against Bobby "the chief" Taylor!!

I think they just have to develop chemistry with each other. One of the drawbacks of having an active offseason.

I wouldn't read too much into this game tho...

-just the first game.
-Panthers might be better than everyone thinks.
-defense looked good for much of the game.
-a win is a win.

I was at the opener last night and was very disappointed in the Bolts play. Tho they out shot the Panthers I thought they were outplayed. They'll have to play better to keep up to premier teams in the league. Did Namestnikov play ? I don't remember seeing him at all.

According to the box score he put in about 10 minutes of ice time.

BTW, sorry you were disappointed, glad they won it for you tho

Yeah I just looked at the box score !. I looked for him but just couldn't see him. My eyes are catching up with my age, ha ha.

I had to look for him too, he didn't do much, stats wise.

Yea, it was the "kov" line. I chuckled a couple of times during the game hearing what's his name stumbling through the play by play when both were out on the ice. He did pretty good though with those 2 names considering there new names to learn for announcing the game!
