I could see Lewis suited up but only play if needed or the game is out of hand one way or the other. Of your three I'd say Gaffney as well.Although I agree that Lewis will most likely not be activated at this time, I do feel that the open roster spot will be filled by a running back. Prime candidates would be Tyler Gaffney, Bishop Sankey and Glenn Gronkowski. My choice would be Gaffney.
Lewis is in full practice. Pads and contact.
Patriots have an open roster spot. Possibility of Lewis suiting up Sunday.
Personally, I doubt it. BB has 3 weeks to decide what to do with him. Practice this week,
light practice next week because of the bye, full practice the week after and play the
following Sunday at home against the Seahawks.
From what I understand today was marked as his first official first practice so no way he could have been a full participant yesterday
Why is it that you come in here and shit on everything I write???? I SAW film from WEDNESDAY of #33 - DION LEWIS on the field at Gillette Stadium Practice Facility. I also said that he was NOT with the team but with Coaches and the team was in the background.
As I have previously stated.......I'm off my feet 24/7. All I do is channel surf and watch NESN, CNNSE, Liston to WEEI on my computer, switch to WBZ and surf the web for sports updates. I am ordered medically not to walk around. I doubt that anyone in New England is any more connected to anything sports around here than I am.
I'm hoping for permission to at least go to the local sub shop for a sandwich next Wednesday.......then on Wednesday afternoon I get to meet my heart surgeon and most likely he'll schedule me for surgery week after next and I'll be on my ass for another two weeks.
This is good news indeed. I like the idea he could take some snaps from both Blount and White. Keep everybody fresh for the playoff run. It's a good problem to have. Now release Bolden and get someone who can rush the passer or a coverage LB. Next off season find a CB who can cover.Per ESPN, Dion Lewis will be activated for Sunday's game against Seattle Saturday.
He is expected to get some playing time behind Blount and White. If he really does well, he'll be getting a lot of playing time.
Well that depends? Can Mingo stay with Graham? Not sure NE has anyone else that can? This offense is getting scary component-wise.
Does the defense miss 91 on Sunday?
Big questions and no doubt an exciting game this week.
