There's a lot of angst amongst Rangers right now. We couldn't wait for last season to be over, and even though it's only three games in, the the flat out pathetic display on both sides of the plate is already a bit disturbing. It certainly isn't helping our concerns in spite of the fact that there's more talented bats than are showing up so far. So we're a tad sensitive right now.

The Banny Rooster is DH-ing Prince and dropped Andrus in the order. I like that.

Not a fan of Rua hitting fifth.

I agree. I love the fact that Andrus is getting bumped. Winding is right. April probably won't be real pretty as its all about Bannister figuring out what works.

I think Bannister is going to give Rua every chance to succeed. Hopefully he gets it going because he's looked awful the last two games.

Also, I wouldn't used to seeing Fielder DH. I'm quite sure that was simply in order to get Moreland in the field and a day game on getaway day gives him the excuse to do that.

I think Bannister is going to give Rua every chance to succeed. Hopefully he gets it going because he's looked awful the last two games.

I just worry they'll IBB Prince to get to Rua, which is how I would play it. I bet part of Prince DH-ing is just keeping those legs fresh as well. Big Guy has been running all over than damned foul area this week.

This makes me feel better about the Darvish surgery (and Perez too, for that matter). No reason to think either of those guys will have any long-term downgrades in their ability.

They've got TJ down to a science. It's no reason to be concerned about whether a pitcher will be able to return to form.
