I know we're 3 games into the season. But fundamentally we're playing horrible baseball. And that starts with the mental approach of the manager IMO.

I'm struggling to decide what was the worst, scoring 0 runs on only 3 hits, committing 4 errors, or allowing 10 runs.

3 games in and the tally reads Opponent 19, Rangers 3. 19-3.

A whole lot can change in 159 games, but it is troubling to say the least that 5 months of offseason and a Spring Training later and the team is playing just like it did all last season.

Tonight was so bad it was unwatchable. They might struggle this year, but surely they can't be this bad, right?

I don't know. I mean they have the classic Ranger rotation and BP which they were known for before we made our WS runs without the classic offensive power. I can see it going pretty bad but I hope I am wrong. I'm putting my hopes in next season or maybe even the season after that. I don't think we see a significant salary decrease until 2017 though. Actually really shocked to see we are up $8M from last season for our new highest payroll (9th in the MLB, last year we were 10th).

Yeah, that is pretty lousy but I think the 4 errors bother me the most and the fact that Andrus has 4 in 3 games really bothers me.

Still can't believe they were playing the line of that hard shot down the line by Smolinski. That is a double any other day. Not that it mattered. I am just pulling for the little victories like I used to when watching the Rangers.
