These last four series have been some very good baseball from the Pirates. That's a good sign, especially against the division.

The Pirates thus far this yr, have been kicking ass against NL Central foes. Great Series win last wk against the Reds at PNC & an even better one this wk against the Reds at Great America Ballpark. 4 straight series wins overall now, for the Bucs.

The Royals have a very good lineup, but not much to speak of in the way of pitching. And, this series is at PNC for the Bucs, so I like our chances. Next wk it's the O's in Baltimore & as another poster said earler, the O's have hit a "Speed Bump" and are coming back to earth a little bit.

This is a Great chance for the Bucs to start stackin some wins! Maybe, possibly, even grab first place in the division?

I believe that the SP & most importantly the Pirates bullpen is not going to fade as they did a yr ago. This yrs pitching, both Starters & Bullpen, is better, deeper & I believe has staying power.

Hopefully, the offense keeps improving & Neal can get us a legit bat or two in trades?

If we can do that? You damn well better believe, that this Pirates team can compete for this NL Central Division all yr long.

I really believe that!
