I think Budenholzer will get it because of the massive improvement from last year. Golden State is just better than we already expected them to be, while many people thought the Hawks would be as bad as last year or, at best, sixth seed in a weak Eastern Conference. Coach Bud seems like he will surpass even my relatively optimistic preseason expectations of forty-eight wins and fifth seed.

I wouldn't be too disappointed if Kerr got it though. They're both great HCs.

True, but they were only 15-13 at the time, I think. They were a three seed, but not an impressive one. They were only on track for about forty-three wins at that point.

Hawks have been super impressive. GSW may be more flashy but its Spurs fundamentals that give them fits. The only way I see GSW beat them is Klay or Curry going off on them. Thank goodness for GSW improved D and depth, its the only hope I see them beating the Spawks.

Wish I wouldve seen this Hawks team against the hot Spurs in last years playoffs, that wouldve been awesome to watch though

GSW executes pretty well like the spurs. They been doing it other that game against the bulls. If curry doesn't pass it they win that game.

Dont know if Id say theyve done so consistently, and to be honest, at times I feel their too unselfish.its just a huge dropoff from steph and klay to the next true scorer (DLee being the only other one on the team but Ill take a DLee more focused on D over noDLee).

And the Hawks/Spurs wouldnt make a bonehead play like Steph did. Poordude needs to shake off that Jackson residue left over.

When I watch Hawks, you dont know who their best players are lol

Who now owns the best undefeated record for an entire month in league history? not the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Spurs, or even Heat but the always overlooked Atlanta Hawks.

Got to love how amongst this winning streak they still barely get talked about thanks to the Super Bowl and the Cavs winning streak. Last I checked the Cavs either need to almost win out or hope the Hawks collapse to take the top spot in the East.

I think the Hawks have the team to win it all. They don't really have a superstar, but they have tons of really good players. Like the 04 Pistons.

They lack bigs, don't have a great bench, and of course not a lot of playoffs experience on that team at all
