Let's shoot for the Guinness record next week!

If you haven't heard already, the 12th man will attempt to set the guinness world record for noise at a sport event next week during our match up against the rival 49ers. The current record is ~131dB and we have record a 112dB before.

Let's get loud next week and set the record! Make it as uncomfortable for the 49ers as much as we can and there will be no more dispute that we are the best and the loudest!

Exactly. I've said it before, but we don't need to have a record in a book to tell us we have the loudest fans in the league. It's already a pretty widely held opinion that we do. If we break the record, fine, but I don't really care if we do. I just want to see a win.

Make sure to bring those plastic pep megaphones, they really do work and if 20% of the crowd has them the record is ours . Those are used heavily in the European Soccer stadiums and is the reason that a European football match holds the record. Matter of fact i hope they hand them out at the gates lol.

If that's true it's an incredible accomplishment, 136.6 is freaking insane. Best HFA in the NFL. Second doesn't even come close.

it is confirmed now. 136.6 is the official new world record. Nice going guys! They broke it with the sack on kaep late in the first quarter with 131.9 and then again after lynch's second TD in the 4th quarter.
