I was there for that one. It was also the first home WS game and the first Rangers WS win. An absolutely incredible experience.

I guess in the future the Rangers will be able to schedule more day games on getaway days. They do that now early in the season, but not in the summer months. That should help out in a handful of road games.

The present stadium was opened just shy of 2 years after construction began. The present stadium opened about 3 and a half years after they announced the agreement.
