I dont know if the B2B games bug me as much as the b2b road games. I think they should only schedule a team b2b games if both are home so. It sucks when you go from Montreal to Philly and the team waiting on you is on a 2 day break.

JMO but I would rather fly an extra hour or two than play back to back games. Back to back games suck. It would be interesting to see the stats as you said about the records of teams playing B2B games.

you will also be interested to know that Buffalo is the game 2 opponent in another teams BTB series 13 times. Out of these 13 instances Buffalo will also be playing Game 2 of a BTB series 8 times.

In other words

Buffalo plays a game 2 while opponent is rested 14 times, advantage opponent

Buffalo plays an opponent who is on game 2 of a BTB series while Buffalo is rested 5 times, advantage buffalo

Buffalo plays a game 2 while the opponent is also playing a game 2 8 times, no advantage either team

This seems to net 9 more instances when buffalo is playing tired or just under 11% of the season. That is a huge disadvantage in the schedule.

I don't care if they get carried by by a bunch of therapist it's still a disadvantage. I played sports and it's tough to play back to back games. That's my point.

I would rather sit my ass in a plane and fly a few extra miles than do that. It just seems (obviously) that the Sabres are always in the top three for back to back games.

I know I may sound bitchy but damn ! It Seems to happen a lot and I think it sucks JMO.

Well last year the Sabres had 18 while the Devils and Islanders had 19.

The year before that the Sabres had 17 while the Devils had 18 and the Islanders had 17.

So it looks like the Sabres, Devils, and Islanders are the lucky teams every year.

I guess we are the lucky one's. I didn't mean to blow off but it seems we get screwed with this shit. We played a certain team last year twice coming off another game and it just pisses me off that some teams seem to get the shaft year in and year out.
