True story: OU brought in a super duper weight lifting guy one day to show the OU football team "how to do it right". He was strutting around the room and kept pointing to a barbell loaded down with a shit load of plates. He went on and on and on about how strong he was because he lifted weights "the right way". After about 15 minutes of this diatribe he asked if anyone wanted to try to bench press the barbell. It started quietly at first when the team started whispering "Lucious, Lucious, Lucious". Lucious was Lee Roy's older brother and the foundation of the Selmon brothers. It got louder and louder until they were shouting "Lucious, Lucious, Lucious!!". Lucious slowly walked up to the bench, laid down, took a breath and banged it THREE times and then softly settled the bar back down onto the rack. That guy never said a word.....he just stared at the barbell as the team went crazy. The coaches were laughing their asses off. Lucious, Dewey and Lee Roy all loaded hogs BY HAND and that takes phenomenal strength. Their Dad even made a harness that two of them would use to pull a garden plow. Lucious was the strongest of the three brothers and he dearly loved and always "looked after" his two little brothers Dewey and Lee Roy.
