What are the odds he'll be recruiting Wade or Melo soon?

I don't understand how LeBron could possibly be upset with Gilbert. He has such deep pockets and does not care at all about spending.

What is really funny is that some on here claimed that the reason LeBron left Miami was Arison's failure to use a trade exception to get deeper into the luxury tax. Gilbert has time still, but he could be on the verge of doing the exact same thing this year.

what trade exception are you talking about? Of Miami's that Arison didnt use?

i just hope when you say "some here" isnt me...becuase if it is - you clearly are demonstrating that you dont know what you are talking about. If its NOT me...then i thoroughly apologize for the intrusion even if you do seem confused.

He's prob confusing it with mid level, which you did reference numerous times.
Regardless, it's nonsense.
There were no players available that would have cracked the Heats rotation,

Same thing applies as of now with the Cavs.
At this point, does anyone have a clue as to what James thinks the Cavs can do?

LeBron was wrong to make the comments publicly.

But he's not wrong that CLE should be looking to add a playmaker. They have an open roster spot and a couple exceptions for christs sake. He's not asking for another all-star, he's talking about a bench role player.

Again, no need to make the comments publicly, though. I'm pretty sure the FO is aware and agrees. LeBron was just trying to use it as an excuse for their poor play which is stupid.

The answer is Lebron is a whiny bitch. Best player in the game, top 5 all time, but still a whiny bitch

Not going to get it - they are at 129 million and well over the cap and the gm is saying they need to cut the cost and Lebron is pissed about it.

I'd guess Griffin is trying to get closer to the deadline where the price may be better for backup PG or a big.

But the minutes are starting to pile up -- and injury risk is there. One option is to play Liggins/McRea more minutes -- and live with it. (that may help D intensity also)

I mean, he does need more help.

The Cavs are Championship or bust.

Their goal is not to go deep in the playoffs, they have to win it all.

The Warriors added Durant, a top 5 player.

The Cavs added Kyle Korver.

Checkers meets Chess.

But, there are two problems with his public decry for help:

1. Bitch move to do that publicly when Gilbert has the highest payroll in the NBA.

2. There isn't any player in the NBA that they could trade for, outside of a healthy Davis or Kawhi, that would match the talent of the Warriors, on paper.

Cousins?.....maaaaybe if his mind was right. It isnt, so.....nope.

Melo ? nope.

Gasol? he'd brutalize them. But, he couldn't run with them.

Whiteside, Embiid, Towns...nope.

Westbrook or Harden? Lebron would have to pry the fucking ball from their cold, dead hands.

Two guys outside the box that would make it fun, Booker and CJ.

But, they still wouldn't match the Warriors....imo

Lebron is afraid he's gonna lose and he should be.
