If Game 3 is any indication, with the C’s falling into an 0-3 hole, it won’t be that way much longer.

LeBron James is unquestionably the best basketball player on planet earth, and when his career is done, and his book is written, there will be a very large chapter in that book dedicated to the Boston Celtics.

James’ first run in Cleveland came to an end in Boston, with the 11-time NBA All Star taking off his jersey as he entered the tunnel towards the locker room after yet another disappointing postseason loss to Boston’s Big 3 in June 2010.

One month later came The Decision, and LeBron formed his own Big 3 in Miami. Two championshipsand two finals appearances later, LeBron is back in Cleveland taking on the C’s in the playoffs, only this time Boston is more of a speed bump than a road block in the way of his next ring.

After his team’s 103-95 victory, and going up 3-0 in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, LeBron James spoke about his legacy being tied to the city of Boston — both good and bad.

“The uniforms are the same, some of the players are different — mostly all of the players are different besides Brandon Bass being on some of those teams. But it’s the same for me. I get great feelings and I get eerie feelings when I come in this building,” James said of TD Garden.

“I’ve been on both sides of the fences. The great thing about being here is these fans are loyal to one thing and one thing only, and that’s green. That’s all they see and that’s all they care about. For me being a competitor, for me being someone they know personally, to be able to come out here and perform in front of those guys, it means a lot because they know the game.

“They know the game, they know sports as a sports town, between them and the Patriots, the Bruins and the Red Sox. They know sports. For me to be able to have some type of history in this city, it means a lot for my legacy.”

The Game 7 duel between LeBron and Pierce when they both went over 40 and were trading buckets seemingly throughout the 4th was an all time classic.

Looking back... its actually crazy that LeBron and that team of Cavs were that close to derailing KG, Doc, and Paul's lone title.

he carried that team. what an amazing job he did. and his 35 and 15 game, where he grew up from a scared little vagina late in games, to a full grown man...

It's how a lot of people felt about Madison Square Garden over the years but the Knicks have been mostly terrible during Lebron's career and hardly made the playoffs.
