Ive only heard Zetterberg come out and make a comment so far

numerous canucks players were asked if they grew tired of having to step up and defend Cookes actions when he played here and they were in consensus saying no and that he was a good guy (caveat: lots of turnover in the canucks 3rd and 4th line guys since cookes time here ... the guys still on the roster from cookes time are mostly top 6 and skilled d who wouldnt have had to step up and fight cookes battles)

This is completely off topic, but I went to a Sound Tigers game on Saturday, that Svendsen kid is pretty solid, real fast skater and nice release with the puck.

i was looking for video of Joe Thornton completely destroying Matt Cooke against the boards (its from 4 years ago i think) couldnt find the video but i found this post game Matt Cooke quote and it made me laugh ... comical!

“Any time someone hits you from behind, it’s not the best,” said Cooke, who wasn’t hurt on the play. “If that’s the way he wants to play, fine. He’s 6-(foot)-5 and 210 pounds. I have no respect for him. Fair is fair, but when you see the numbers … You teach the kids not to hit (that way). You can’t have superstars out there doing that.”

Who is he? I've never heard of him. Rakhshani leads Brigdeport in points & Ullstrom may have some promise but I don't know who Svendsen is.

Yes but his was petty, and his first ever suspension or dirty hit. Which really wasn't that dirty.

Wotton is horrible.

Wotton is a career minor leaguer. Koskinen was probably in net. Rhett was up for 1 game earlier this year & got a concussion. He's 22 & this is his 1st year as a pro. He isn't big but he's a good skater. Mid round pick in 2006 when Neil Smith was calling the shots. Koskinen was taken in 09 in the 2nd round. The goalie they took in the 3rd round from Sweden Anders Nilsson might be better.
Kevin Poulin already is.
