Less than 24 hours after a sloppy effort vs the Penguins back at it vs the reeling Thrashers.

So far so good for the good guys, up 2-0 in the 1st. Have no idea why Reimer is back in there. No need to wear the kid out, especially after he looked tired last night.

That was a wild game last night. Really fun to watch. The one problem Reimer had was he was staying too deep in his net. He wasn't challenging the shooters. Overall he's played very well. It's going to be interesting to see which direction Burkie goes with MacArthur. He's been playing so well. Hopefully he agrees to an extension to stay in Toronto.

I am still wary about overpaying him at this point. Whenever these 3rd line players have career years, you never know how to go forward in contract talks. Clarke has had a fine year but as I said in the past, the fact he is our leading scorer is concerning.

Wow, yes please. Losing our top scorer would hurt our playoff chances (provided Burke doesn't trade for a forward) but the chance to get Ellis is appealing.

I know Nashville needs offense & they're deep on defense with the big club & in the farm system but that's a steep price to pay.

Dumont has a NTC & is due 4 million next year so it would help the Predators resign Weber.

This is going to be a very interesting next 20 hours.

Leafs were literally running on fumes in the third and OT so I will take the point, but losing to Atlanta is inexcusable. Fuck you NHL schedule makers and to the Thrashers homer announcers.

On top of all that, Reimer looks to be badly hurt. The next 3 games vs the Pens, Flyers and Blackhawks should all but end these flimsy playoff hopes for this year. *sigh*
