4-nil in the 2nd period...This has the potential of "fire the coach" written all over it.

Not gonna lie, I'm enjoying this very much. Second game of a back to back vs a bad team. This game had letdown written all over it, but the boys are taking care of business.

Would like to see a few of these goals saved for the Bruins on Saturday.

I don't know if I need my eyes checked, but did I see a player out there for the Jackets named Clitsome?

And the GM. And starting goalie.

And I've got a little smile seeing that Ryan Johansen has suited up for his 10th game in a Blue Jackets uniform. Good riddance Johansen! You tormented the Chiefs for too long! But also good luck. Except against the Sharks. :p

He's been the best player on the ice for the Jackets tonight.

Kid's a damn good player. I thought before the season started that he was good enough to stick in the NHL. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he can get 20-25 goals as a rookie.

That's what happens when the snake has bitten. They were shooting from everywhere, but every single shot hit Whats-his-name right in the crest. He played well, but he was stopping stuff he never saw.

It's not that they aren't getting chances, they just aren't capitalizing on ANYTHING. The one power play in the third was so telling. The Jackets were swarming and the Leafs got it out in desperation, the Jackets turned and burned and would have had a 4 on 2 but Nash went offside.

Too little too late at that point, but just NOTHING goes right.

Vermette has to be near suicidal at this point. Unbelievable chances and NOTHING is bouncing in for him. He's not played poorly, but he can't produce ANYTHING.

Welcome to Antoine Vermette. Did you not notice him doing this for months at a time in a Sens uniform?

"....putting the wood to..."

"BJs"

"Clitsome"

If only I had a dirty mind. There would be so much material in this thread.
