Damn I can't see the link. There were all sorts of rumors about that exchange.

Leach hated A&M and Nebraska

He hates everyone but himself

Leach in the SEC would destroy shit. He can't be at a shity program. Needs something with big recruiting potential. Like Tennessee.

Gee, I don't know which is the bigger jerk, Petrino or Leach. But hey, it was Idaho that got blown off of the field, like they usually do.

If you don't want to get embarrassed, field a better football team, Vandals.

The sad truth is, when Idaho decided 8 or 10 years ago to simply remodel the Kibbe Dome (16,000) seats and use gimmicks like playing "home" games in Pullman to qualify as division 1, they sealed their own fate. Idaho needs to go back to FCS or quit taking games in which they have zero chance.

Once upon a time, Idaho was a proud program, with good players and young coaches on the way up. Now the only coaches they can hire are nobodies, perpetual assistants, fired "name" guys like Paul Petrino or alcoholic Dennis Erickson, knowing that if they win, they will be gone in a year or two. But most of them don't, so Idaho will forever be on that treadmill.

So now we get to watch as the Vandals hire themselves out, like old hookers, to anyone needing an easy win. It's a sad day to be a graduate if you love sports, like I do.

That's some funny chit. Did you see the comments? Here's a funny one........................

Upon hearing Leach was upset again, Adam James reflexively went out to the utility shed and locked the door behind him.

:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

Also the dead hooker count one was funny. :laugh3:

Got to love Leach, he is very colorful. Great coach, but I don't think I would let my kid play for him.

Meh, I don't know.......damn near everytime Tech beat Aggy it was a blowout. I think you guys OWNED them for like 7 years or something.

4 straight wins 05-08 two of them were blow outs. Back during the Fran Plan :L
“When it comes to football it’s not going to be any fun without the other guy. You have to have the other guy,” Leach said. “If you’re at Tech, A&M was one of the other guys.
“You always knew where A&M stood. We’d walk out and the first thing you saw was the student section and they let you know how they felt and their thoughts on you and the rest.”
“It’s one of the greatest traditions in college football and I was always honored to play there,” Leach said. “I always felt honored to play at Kyle Field. It’s not like we had to play A&M at Kyle Field, we got to.”

I remember a few years ago, I think it was Sherman's fist year with A&M. Texas Tech was beating the hell out of us at Kyle Field. Tech made it to the red zone with a few seconds left in the game and Leach calls a time out so they can score another TD rather than kneeling on it and ending the game. Shit like that is why a lot of people can't stand the sonofabitch.

I remember the game. Tech had the ball and was up by 8. It was in the final seconds of the game & A&M was out of time outs. The ball carrier for Tech was tackled at the goal line. They called him down at the 1. Leach called a TO so it would be reviewed. When the spot was upheld, he lined up in 5 wide and ran a QB draw to score another TD.

If a Mike Leach coached team was playing the Taliban, I'd pull for the Taliban.

Ummm, pretty sure the Vandals would beat the Broncos. So stop preaching like you know what time it is

7-1 I think from 2001-2008

2nd Alamo
Kingsbury beat the ags in the "greatest game never seen" at Kyle Field
BJ Symons threw 8 TDs
Cumbie lost in 2OT on an option play
05 was just ugly
Harrell threw a perfect TD pass to Robert Johnson with like 30 seconds left to win
Japorky Lane guaranteed a victory in Lubbock, and the fans chanted "overweeeiiight"
Harrell walked into the endzone on a read option play

then it went downhill after that with the fat girlfriends game and then Dooferville as our coach

By far Leach's greatest interview, IMO.....
