Return questionable?

He's listed as probable for next week.

But on a serious note, I saw this on twitter. Sourcing is questionable. It's being RT'ed by many credible journalists, but I haven't seen an initial source.

I saw something earlier today on twitter about a player that was annihilated by some huge hit. I don't remember the name but the reports made it seem like the player was REALLY messed up. I wonder if this is the same one?

That's terrible. Hope his leg is still attached.

Anyone know if he opted for the insurance? I hope he did.

On another note, I don't see any reason why he wouldn't enter the draft now. He's probably gonna want to finish his degree, but he can still do that if he declares for the draft. He just won't be able to play college football; but I can't see him ever playing gollege football again anyway.

When I talk to somebody about THAT Tyrone Prothro video, I always have to bring this thing up as well.

Prothro's Catch - YouTube

Yeah one of the greatest catches I've ever seen. The injury happened in the same year he made this catch right? Like a week or two later if I remember right. This catch is what made the injury so big. Prothro was looking like one of the top WR in the country at the time.

I think it was longer than 2 weeks. Maybe a month? But yes, it happened in the same year. I don't remember him looking like one of the top WRs in the country, but he did have big play ability. I think he only had two, maybe three, really big games the year he went down with that injury, including that game where he got hurt. If memory serves me correctly, he was over 100 yards receiving and had 2-3 TDs in that game, too.

Nepolian McCallon from the Raiders is still the worst injury I ever saw. Monday night, Raiders/Niners, Ken Norton folds his knee the complete wrong way as his foot was stuck in the pile.

And if the injury to Lattimore is what iMac says it is, think Shaun Livingston from the clippers in terms of the fact that he would be lucky to just walk again without a limp.

ugh, I think that was the worst for me too. McCallum could have died from that cause it ruptured his artery.

Sad to see because you're watching a guy's dream get blown up right before your eyes and millions of dollars gone in a mere matter of seconds. On top of the fact who knows if he'll be even able to walk normally after that.

Fortunately sports medicine has come a long long ways and I pray that somehow it's not as bad as it looks and he'll be able to maybe run again and have a shot with an NFL team.

This the prime example of why I don't blame these kids at all when they leave school early and hit the pros. Yes the odds of a devastating injury are surprisingly low considering the amount of snaps and games that are played at both the college and pro ranks but that risk is always still there. If someone tells me if I hit the draft now I would be a 1st or 2nd round pick then I'm gone.
