Every team has slumps during the year. BUT
The offense seems stagnant and predictable

1st down run
1st down run
1st down run
etc

It seems like a play action pass on 1st down, and throwing deep might get Bryant involved....especially early in the game.

Stopped looking for Beasley to move the chains in the past few games, there was a couple 3rd and 6-9 yards where he wasn't even on the field tonight

The Giants played very disciplined, and because of that, they were able to take away alot in the passing game. Zeke had a 100 yard game...and they didn't care. They didn't crash down on Zeke, they kept the edge, and the run option for Dak was never there. They took away the deep ball, made Dak check it and made tackles short of the sticks.. a lot like what we did to them. This was a tough division game against a team that really focuses on us, so I think it's a blip. Would be surprised if the offense doesn't bounce back Sunday

This is one of the main things I am harping on JG about. His play calling/game planning. OMG the run on first downs. Now I will give some credit to that great play that gave us the TD. But first downs seem to be give up plays.

To be fair, giants were pretty predictable too.

JG doesn't call the plays. Running the ball on 1st down, 2nd down, even 3rd down and punt is a proven way to keep games close and win on the road. Bill Parcells did that the entire time he was in Dallas

I realize he doesn't call the plays......

But he better be in the meetings for game planning........

And when you run on first down exclusively, no matter the coach, no matter the O line you get have a tendency to get 7 points total for a game.

I don't blame the loss totally on coaches, and if I came across that way it wasn't my intentions. Players did not make plays too.

I mean..I thought the gameplan last night looked just like the last 11. I think the Giants had a fantastic scheme to slow us down. It's not the first time their DC has slowed down an offense on a long winning streak...

Oh I give the giants credit. They played a great game. Easier to play a game when you know the play is going up the middle on every first down. The predictability was awe inspiring. Not only did they run it every first down, they disguised it by lining up in a run formation on every first down.

questioning the play calling is a cop out. Never a question when it works.
When do the players execution count? theirs and ours?

I'll play arm chair QB and give you boy's some teeth to your tiresome complaints about the coaches and their decisions. Somebody tell Garrett & company when the game is in the balance, Elliott should not be sitting while Dunbar plays.

Now that's something to bitch about.

Been saying it since the offseason, Dunbar has no place on this roster this year.

I told everyone on the espn board that janoris Jenkins was the best corner in that draft. I admit that MO was looking like a totally different player and then he go injured yet again.

The Giants are the last team the Cowboys want to see in the playoffs.

I kept thinking why the he'll was Dunbar on the field instead of our best playmaker zeke? Say what you want about McFadden but he would have picked up those blitzes. Heads need to roll if Dunbar sees the field again

So who made that call? That play had no chance with the way the giants schemed all night. I was thinking that dak changed the play, but have no idea

He must have audibles to it. JG said they got the look they wanted, they just didn't execute. With that being said not many runs can expect to get 11 yards though.

I'd take the Cowboys at home to beat the GMen

I disagree. First down runs are what makes this offense go. 2nd and 6 is a lot better than 2nd and 10. I would pretty much run every first down and have felt that passing on first down has messed up the rhythm of the offense a lot of times when they couldn't get things going. Yeah, there were some very questionable play calls, but I don't think passing on first down in a game where you were struggling to pass was one. What is it with our receivers facing the Giants? Can they ever get open? I know they have good corners and play us very physically, but it was like all night no one could get open. And Dez deserved a foot up his ass for how he played. It looked like he wasn't even in the game. Dak should have ignored him instead of forcing it to him on a few plays.

Your game plan is 2-24 on third downs in the last 2 games. I am not crying to throw the ball on every first down. Let's not go there but a change up has to be thrown in once in a while. Even in the run formation on first, throw it once in a while. Get in a spread and run it on first. But first down is always the same play.
