I think its mostly because the personnel are in place because of their loyalty and respect for Lou. Larry probably would have been out of NJ a while ago if not for Lou. Players it already happened this year with Pittsburgh and Staal

I understand going to SJ because his grandkids are closer, but why then did he also speak to Montreal and TB?

I don't mind PDB getting the guys that he wants. I loved Larry Robinson and would have liked to see him stay, but this could be a good thing. Wasn't Scott Stevens involved with the team in some way? Imagine having that guy behind the bench?
