Eagles suspended RT Lane Johnson said he checked every supplement he takes with the "Aegis Shield" app provided by the NFLPA.

The NFLPA does not approve supplements, and the app Johnson referred to only scans labels. It is likely there was something else in the supplement other than what was listed on the label, leading to the positive test. Still, Johnson is understandably upset with the situation. "I want that to be clear: The NFLPA does not stand up for players. They don’t check the supplements," Johnson said. "And when you call them and ask them if you test positive for something they approve, it doesn’t matter." It looks like Johnson's 10-game suspension will stand.

The NFLPA also facilitates testing for any supplement a player wishes to get tested.
