Good thing the Eagles signed all those QBs. They're probably going to need them.
But Brady does.
Careful, "Rainbow Queen Rex" is NOT going to like that...But Brady does.
No he just wont get paid sitting out, (which it now looks like will happen) I'm not stupid, been around the game long enough to know most players are taken something, but for the love of god you get caught once you would think, (and I know this is a reach) that once caught they would take extra pre caution to not get caught again...
This is a very large blow to the Eagles, he has put the offense into more of a scared act now.
What's most concerning about this is that they really have no depth at OT. If Jason Peters gets hurt now--which is quite possible--Cleveland could be staring at a top 3 pick from Philly next year as part of the Wentz deal.
Sorry Sonny, but that window was just to wide open.sure why not
I hear you Manny its all good broSorry Sonny, but that window was just to wide open.
It's very rare for a team to have a couple of picks in the top 10, let alone 2 in the top 5, but it has happened before. Here's a few teams over the last 25 years or so that ended up with a pair of premium picks:Crazy to think they might actually own 2 of the top-5 picks. Wonder if that has ever happened? Closest I can remember is St. Louis/LA Rams having the 2nd and 13th overall picks one year.
--1997, Seattle had the 3rd and 6th overall picks.
Good chance of that even without a Peters injuryWhat's most concerning about this is that they really have no depth at OT. If Jason Peters gets hurt now--which is quite possible--Cleveland could be staring at a top 3 pick from Philly next year as part of the Wentz deal.

NiceI'm still waiting for a guy to come out and say 'Your God Damn right I took those steroids and I've got $30M reasons to take 'em again next year'. My money's on Martellus Bennett as the only one goofy enough to say it...
Seattle needs a OL that could be a good fit?Trade this guy to the Cowboys.
Well considering the way the majority of these teams have turned out. It looks more like a curse as opposed to a blessing. It's very rare for a team to have a couple of picks in the top 10, let alone 2 in the top 5, but it has happened before. --2013, the Jets had the 9th and 13th overall picks
--2014, the Rams had picks 2 and 13
It's looking like the Browns could be the next team on that list.

How the team turned out isn't a good measure for whether the team picked a good player or not. It's really the other way around--if the team picks bad players with those high picks, that's why the team didn't turn out well after that.Well considering the way the majority of these teams have turned out. Well you also need to factor in the majority of high picks go to a terrible team. So you can draft a superstar and on a terrible team he ends up mediocre at best. How the team turned out isn't a good measure for whether the team picked a good player or not. The 92 Colts, 1 and 2, took DT S.Emtman (bust) and LB Q.Coryatt (bust)
The 92 Phins, 7 and 12, took CB Troy Vincent (good) and DE Marco Coleman (bust)
The 94 Colts, 2 and 5, took RB M.Faulk (great) and LB T.Alberts (bust).
The 97 Seahawks, 3 and 6, took CB S.Springs (great) and LT W.Jones (great).
The 2000 Skins, 2 and 3, took LB L.Arrington (good) and LT C.Samuels (great).
The 2013 Jets, 9 and 13, took CB D.Millner (bust), and DL S.Richardson (good)
The 2014 Rams, 2 and 13 took OT G.Robinson (ok) and DT A.Donald (good)
That's about a success rate a bit over 50% (better than the usual 50% Rd 1 success rate), so having 2 really high picks is certainly not a curse--it's an advantage. The odds of success are in the Browns favor if they get two top picks, but...you know, it's the Browns...
In that case, you'd never know he was a superstar to begin with. You'd just be guessing. We don't have to guess to know whether having a pair of high picks is a good thing or bad. It's not a curse. It's a very good thing.Well you also need to factor in the majority of high picks go to a terrible team. So you can draft a superstar and on a terrible team he ends up mediocre at best.
