They're just trying to get off some of that money they owe him. I would hold on to the DTs until the draft and FA.

If we can use one of them to go get a QB or another pick, that would be ideal. Im not sure I do it now unless someone comes with a 1st round offer, which most likely won't happen.

Nobody’s trading for Collins because nobody is looking for a bad-in-coverage safety who doubles as a slightly undersized linebacker, who may or may not be starting on the worst linebacker corps in the league.

hard to imagine anyone taking on that contract
And now that you have offered him up and he doesn't get moved, then what? He keeps playing knowing we don't want him and his bloated contract that will be released next off season. I agree Cali, I don't see anyone taking LC's and his overpaid self.

Listening to JP and B Mitch today, they were both on baord with trading Payne if the price is right. They said it was better to hold off on Scherff because the comp pick which will probably be a 3rd is better than what we could get for him right now.

I see it already. They trade Collins for some funky ass 5th or 6th rd pk. Team he goes to opens his eyes to the bennies of being an undersized, but solid LB capable of making splash plays vs a big, clunky safety who leads the NFL in TD passes surrendered and can't bust a fuckin grape. Collins becomes a productive player for his new team for next few years. The player the Skins end up with on the otherhand is kept around for 3 injury plagued seasons making it off the practice squad once in season 2. Where he gets a meaningless sack in a blow-out loss to the Rams.

They will if the Skins agree to pay a good portion of it which from some articles. They seem inclined to do.
Landon looking good out there. Lol. Oh man, torn. Would be nice to get off that contract though.

Then why move him if you don’t get cap relief ?
Just release him next year

What I would have liked to see before the trade deadline was a Kerrigan trade to GB. The guy deserves a chance before he retires. He also fills a need for them. Sad to see that did not happen.
