The way this game is going.......I think the Spurs end up winning by 20

liking the 2 man bigs game from Pau and D12 though. L.A. just has to keep it close to give themselves a shot...

The one thing I can't STAND about the Spurs is how they act like EVERY play they don't score on is a foul

Why would that matter? We know we sucked for most of the year. A better question would be our record against teams since we've been playing .700 ball.

Lakers made the playoffs due to their ability to beat the avg/bad teams in the 2nd half of the year. If you're not a lakers homer you would known they shown us nothing all year long to make anyone believe they can beat a top team 4 of 7.....Needing to win 1 or 2 games on the road in a series

Lets put it this way......coming from a Spurs HATER - if Tony Parker returns to mid season form not ONE game in this series will even be close. He's missing layups and cherries right now......if he gets his little tear drop going, it's over.

on the road, need to find a way to put it in the basket. but as long as they stay fairly close folks will say they still have a shot...unless you're a Heat fan, of course...

CL67

It's not as if anyone has ever accused a Heat fan of being eaten up with intelligence!!

Lakers(as Magic Johnson pointed out) need to get Gasol on the low block more. sorry, but i don't see the Spurs running the Lakers out of this. i think they match up against each other too well...

They only match up well if Parker and Ginobili aren't playing well. If those guys are hitting shots and setting up the offense, you have no matchups that can slow them down. You dont have a guard on the roster that can stay in front of Parker or keep up with Ginobili. Their offense opens up completely when those guys are on their game.

It never fails that there is at least 1 Lakers bandwagon douche in the 1st couple of rows of all their road games.

it isn't like the Spurs are exactly a monster on the low block outside of Duncan, anyway. that's an advantage L.A. needs to take advantage of...

just sayin'...

I understand that......but they at LEAST have Duncan who can play solid D and some decent bench players for fouls. That can at least SLOW DOWN the interior game.

The Lakers can't say the same about slowing down Parker and Ginobili. If Parker spends the rest of the series playing like he did in the first half, I'd say you have nothing to worry about. But if he gets back to his normal self, I don't see how the Lakers stay within 20.

guess we'll see...

don't get me wrong, though. i may not like the Spurs, but i do respect them(i mean, it isn't like they're the Heat, after all). they're the 2nd seed in the west for a reason...
