If you hustle and never give up this is what can happen. LAKERS get killed on the boards and get a win. LAKERS learning how to be clutch from earlier failures in crunch time. LAKERS have learned from past mistakes. Shows character. Love this team. LAKERS once back at full strength we be formidable. Team had energy again this game. The last two seasons it wasn't there much. I Like the new ATTITUDE.

Buncha little old ladies in here.

They won because this team has chemistry and they never stop battling. It doesn't matter how bad they are playing or how far behind they get, they just keep playing and different players step up throughout the game.

Doesn't matter if it's Blake or Meeks with the 3, late shot by Gasol or Swaggy P, defense by Wes Johnson or Nick Young turning into Swaggy D, they just keep playing.

I don't know what we're going to get out of this team as far as playoffs, etc. but they sure are fun to watch. I don't know about you guys, but if someone told me that the Lakers would be 10-9, 2 1/2 games out of first and looking at Kobe coming back for game 20, I'd have taken that in a heartbeat.

Now they need to win Kobe's return game tomorrow!!

We're giving it balls-out effort especially when get behind....if we can be full game energy we will reap the benefits. This team is night and day compared to last year in so many different ways.

I agree TJF12 LAKERSUSCBAm. I have been saying from day one that these guys really may turn into something nobody expected. Everyone wrote them off as has-beens and wannabes, but the difference has been the team chemistry and the one common factor in that every last one of them want to be a Laker and playing here with the other guys. Not one of them has a disparaging word about a teammate. And this is what has been missing for a couple for years now. There is no locker room cancer here and Kobe knows it. I have like this team from the beginning and I say we will do some damage as the season progresses.

It's only Dec but with no Kobe, Nash, and now Farmar only one game back in L column from Clips...the division is up for grabs.

Yes, LAKERSUSCBAM. It is remarkable that even with all of our injuries early we are still playing well enough to be in the divisional hunt early on. I think this business of being .500 and barely eeking into the playoffs may be too premature and certainly an underestimation of this team's capabilities.

It seems that virtually every season, there is one team that exceeds expectations and surprises a lot of folks. Perhaps the Lakers will be this seasons team?
