Hey Laker fans,

I heard some of you weren't happy with the banner for this message board and wanted to see if we could set up a new one. I could give it a shot if you would like, or if anyone else would like to take a shot at it the dimensions are 1025x125.

But before we work on a new banner I gotta ask if you guys want a new banner for this message board. Don't want to replace it if you guys like the one you got already.

Anyways, if you got any opinions please let me know, would really like your feedback on this.

I'm all on board Doobee we should have something better with all the history this franchise has had, definetly could use a better background.

The Los Angeles in hand writting looks cheesy on here like & Kobe is all alone, where is magic & all the championship titles ??

Off the top of my head I was thinking the championship banners, they players like Mikan Baylor, West, Wilt, Kareem, Magic, Worthy, Shaq, & Kobe. Probably the Staples Center as well. Then I'll see if I could find the lettering.

Thanks man, I'm going to add some pictures commemorating some great moments/players in Laker history. When you lower the opacity to 50%, it really looks classic with that yellow background.

Thanks man, was a little nervous working on a NBA banner, more of a hockey fan than a NBA fan, but the Lakers are such an iconic team even I should be able to find good stuff for the banner. If you guys got any suggestions please let me know. I trust that Laker fans will know more about the Laker aura than I would.

The only thing is that if you look at the Current Banner it looks like Kobe has cum stains on his right shoulder...Like

Yeah, a team like the Lakers should have more than just Kobe. Kobe is no doubt one of the greatest players in history, but when you have tradition like the Lakers do, you can't just have 1 player represented on the banner.

Added Jerry Buss & Jack Kent Cooke. Don't worry, I'll work on these pictures so they fit in better, but I think it would be cool to honor 2 pioneers in the world of sports ownership.

BTW, don't worry Laker fans, I fully intend to incorporate your 16 championships into this banner. Just trying to figure out how.
